In high-end manufacturing fields such as semiconductors and integrated circuits, the purity of electronic specialty gases directly determines the performance and yield of the final products. Among them, Ultra-high-purity gas analysis at 7N grade (99.99999%) The project places nearly stringent requirements on the instrument’s detection limit, stability, repeatability, and anti-interference capability. Relying on its deep technological expertise and profound understanding of customer processes, Core Chromatography has tailored a comprehensive solution for this project, encompassing both an online analysis system and multiple sets of offline analytical instruments.
The core of the solution comprises an offline analysis system integrated with a positive-pressure explosion-proof analysis booth. This booth is designed strictly in accordance with Zone 2 requirements for hazardous explosive environments and is constructed from 304 stainless steel. Its explosion-proof rating reaches Exd e ib mb nC pc IIc T4 Ge, while the explosion-proof level of its internal electrical equipment is no lower than Exd IIC T4 Gb. With a maximum enclosure protection rating of IP65, the booth provides a solid guarantee for the long-term, stable, and safe operation of analytical instruments under complex operating conditions. The booth houses multiple GS2010 series gas chromatographs centrally deployed, combined with customized pre-processing units, to create a comprehensive offline analysis network covering tank farms, plant areas, and Class D workshops.
This system is capable of precisely analyzing trace impurities in ultra-pure ammonia (7N), electronic-grade carbon dioxide (6N), electronic-grade carbon monoxide (5N), food-grade carbon dioxide, and a variety of specialty mixed gases. The detection limits for key components are as low as the ppb (parts per billion) level. In particular, the ultra-pure ammonia analysis can achieve separate detection of oxygen and argon as well as independent measurement of C1-C3 hydrocarbons, fully meeting the stringent quality control standards of the electronic special gas industry. The entire system is designed to enable real-time online monitoring of critical process points in production, provide timely safety alerts, and ensure precise control over product quality.
